Design of the Week: Love Bird Wedding Invitations by To Have and to Hold

I just love this wonderfully unique wedding invitation design by one of our latest designers to join the WIS – To Have and to Hold.  The design is inspired by a beautiful vintage birdcage.  This wonderful, hand crafted wedding invitation features a bird cage that  ‘pops up’ when you open the card.  Look inside the birdcage and you will see some love birds sitting on a perch.  It really is one of the cutest designs I have featured in a long time!

The design is available in the whole range of wedding stationery and can be ordered in all shades of Pink, Orange, Yellow, White, Ivory, Green, Olive, Black, Blue, Turquoise, Purple, Plum, Brown, Peach, Grey, Silver, Gold, Coral, Rose, Red and many others in metallic / matt.

The pop-up card costs £3.60, including printing and standard envelopes.  Upgrade to add ribbon and luxury envelopes.  The ‘Birdcage Table Plan’ is particularly wonderful and perfect for a unique twist to your wedding stationery. Instead of a conventional flat style this seating plan is actually a beautiful vintage styled birdcage distressed in off white. Your table plan is designed and printed by To Have & To Hold and then attached with little wooden pegs to a rose garland which is available in off White or Pink, this could also be made with fresh flowers. The usual cost is £40.00 but if you order before the end of October the birdcage ‘table plan’ is only £30.00!

I was wondering what the typeface that was used for the words “design of the week” and “to have and to hold” is?

The font is the ‘Feel’ script by the wonderful Veer company – they have produced some worderful scripts – take a look at their website –
