Letterpress printing is increasingly popular: the impression it creates on a soft board has a very attractive, tactile feel. Motif Style is a good example of this technique, and illustrates why it is coming to be so highly prized. Handel Old Style type digs into the soft surface of Oyster Impression board, its Black ink contrasting with the Terra Pink flower motif. Various motifs are available, as illustrated in our Motifs Library.

The standard wedding invitation is printed letterpress in black and terra red ink, handel old style font, on 7" x 5" Oyster Impression single card (portrait), supplied with matching wove envelopes (unlined).

The invitation can be adapted to your preferred style and you have the option to alter: size, ink colour, print style and font, plate sinking, card type, gilt edging, lined envelopes, add motif, ribbons, tassles or artwork to the design.
